As a Chemical Process Supervisor, you will lead laboratory operations and ensure the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of chemical processes that support power generation. You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, driving performance, and contributing directly to safe and sustainable plant operations. You will work closely with the Chemical Services Superintendent and the Operations team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and grow your expertise in a purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Oversee laboratory operations, including target setting, performance monitoring, and results delivery
- Supervise, coach, and develop laboratory personnel to ensure high performance and capability building
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Analyze laboratory results (water, coal, oil, ash) and recommend corrective actions and process improvements

What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- At least 7 years of experience in laboratory or water treatment within the power generation industry
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Licensed Chemical Engineer and/or with relevant Chemistry-related certifications
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in laboratory QA/QC processes and chemical analysis
- Strong knowledge of power generation systems and chemical processes
- Expertise in interpreting quality parameters for water, coal, and oil
- Experience in budgeting, inventory management, and technical reporting
