Chemical Process Analyst

Location: Bataan, Philippines

Job Level: Entry Level / Technical

As a Chemical Process Analyst, you will perform laboratory testing and analysis to ensure that water, wastewater, coal, ash, and oil quality parameters meet required standards. Your role is critical in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. You will work closely with the Chemical Process Supervisor and the Chemical Services team to deliver accurate data, support operational decisions, and contribute to sustainable energy production.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples (water, wastewater, coal, ash, and oil) in accordance with established standards
  • Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and documentation of laboratory equipment and analyzers
  • Review and validate test results, and recommend corrective actions when parameters are outside specifications
  • Maintain laboratory quality standards, safety practices, and proper sample handling procedures

  • Communicates effectively and works well within a team
  • Is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Preferably with Chemical Technician License
  • At least 3 years of experience in laboratory or water treatment within the power generation industry
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Technical / Functional Skills:

  • Proficiency in laboratory testing procedures and QA/QC standards
  • Knowledge of power plant chemistry and sample analysis techniques
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
