Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Sariaya for a Chef De Partie. In this role, the Chef De Partie is responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes and standards, guiding and mentoring junior kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and presentation, maintaining kitchen operations, and adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols. The role also includes assisting the head chef with menu planning, inventory management, and quality control, while promoting a culture of teamwork and efficiency in the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and plating techniques
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, inventory management, and food safety standards
- Experience in guiding and mentoring junior staff in a kitchen environment
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in food quality
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations
- Culinary arts certification or relevant training is required
- Experience in various cuisines and familiarity with kitchen equipment is a plus
