Role Description

This full-time on-site role, located in Makati, is for a Chef de Partie specializing in Japanese cuisine. The Chef de Partie will oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of Japanese dishes while ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Key responsibilities include managing kitchen operations in the assigned section, supervising junior staff, maintaining high culinary standards, and collaborating with other chefs to enhance menu offerings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as Chef de Partie or similar role in a Japanese restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine preparation and techniques
  • Familiar with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be willing to be assigned in Makati City
