Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef De Partie at Cebu Castle Peak Hotel, located in Cebu. The Chef De Partie will oversee food preparation and cooking processes within the designated kitchen section, ensuring that all dishes meet established quality and presentation standards. Responsibilities include managing inventory, coordinating with kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting in the training and development of junior kitchen team members.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in food preparation and culinary skills, including expertise in cooking techniques, plating, and portioning
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to oversee kitchen operations and ensure timely preparation
  • Knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to supervise and train junior kitchen staff effectively
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration in a culinary environment
  • Culinary certification or diploma is preferred
  • Experience in a hospitality or hotel setting is an advantage
  • Commitment to maintaining quality and presentation standards in all dishes
