Job Description

Roles & responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager in Change management support the Changer Manager and team, additionally be the one in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and effectively in end-to-end Change management cycle.

  • Participate in client service delivery teams in the active execution of engagements, focusing on the people, technology, behavioral and cultural side of change for large-scale transformations inclusive of org changes, process and technology
  • Identify and analyze change impact, assess organizational readiness and support a change management strategy that mitigates risk and maximizes employee engagement
  • Create actionable deliverables that support understanding across the organization and stakeholders; managing resistance to change and help ensure user readiness
  • Design and deliver solutions that supports organizational change; incorporating the use of behavioral change methods and frameworks and can concisely communicate ideas through PowerPoint and other forms while adjusting style and level of details depending on audience
  • Partner with business leaders, stakeholders and project teams to meet business objectives and help ensure deliverables are completed in a timely manner including articulation of complex issues, structuring clear and concise recommendations to a C-level audience
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to innovate and optimize processes for better efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Translate transformation objectives into clear case for change, change vision, and adoption goals for impacted stakeholder groups.
  • Align change activities with program milestones, governance forums, and delivery cadence in coordination with PMO and Agile teams.
  • Conduct stakeholder identification, analysis, and segmentation, including persona mapping and impact profiling.
  • Support leadership alignment journeys, including sponsor enablement, leadership action planning, and reinforcement mechanisms.
  • Operate and manage change networks / change champion models to drive adoption at scale.
  • Execute Change Impact Assessments (CIA) to assess role based, process, and technology impacts.
  • Design and run business readiness assessments, adoption tracking, and go live readiness checkpoints.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies and plans, including targeted messaging by stakeholder group and geography.
  • Create high quality communication assets such as leadership messages, email campaigns, intranet content, videos, and go live materials.
  • Coordinate change communications with program, technology, and business workstreams to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and support development of training strategies aligned to user roles and adoption risks.
  • Oversee creation of training materials, deployment plans, and train the trainer models.
  • Stakeholder Identification, Analysis, Engagement Approach and Plan and Identify stakeholders and drive targeted engagement
  • Define Leadership Journey and enable sponsors and leaders to lead change
  • Training Strategy Creation / Documentation / Rollout Plan Design and manage role-based training rollout
  • Manage day to day change workstream execution, including task tracking, risk and issue management, and status reporting.
  • Prepare inputs for program governance forums, steering committees, and leadership reviews.
  • Utilize delivery tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, BI dashboards) for tracking progress, dependencies, and adoption metrics.
  • Owns end-to-end change workstream execution, stakeholder engagement, and adoption outcomes within programs.
  • Assess organizational readiness and go-live preparedness
  • Develop and execute integrated change plans and Change Strategy.
  • Analyze role-based impacts across processes and systems and analyze the same.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and adoption outcomes

Educational qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Work experience

  • Minimum 7 + years of recent relevant work experience related to Change Management, Organizational Development or Human Resource Consulting; experience within a major consulting firm preferred
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies and leading practices with previous experience with large scale organizational change efforts and has leveraged PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project and other Microsoft tools to develop work plans, articulate complex issues, analyze data and structure information
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and effectively manage relationships with stakeholders, senior management and staff working independently or as part of a team • Demonstrated ability and a proven track record of success in delivering client services in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in change management and driving adoption of new technologies and processes.

Mandatory technical & functional skills

  • The candidate should have hands-on experience with the following work activities in the role of an Enterprise or Organization Change Manager.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop detailed project plans and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Expertise in managing project changes, scope adjustments, and should be a leader in owning things and lead the program

Preferred technical & functional skills

  • The candidate should have hands-on experience with the following - Enterprise Change Management / Organization Change Management / Behavioral Change Management

  • Experience with client interactions, business development, cost negotiation, and pre-sales activities for more senior roles is an added advantage.
