Job Description
The accountant will oversee the daily accounting operations and overall financial management of the company.

- In charge of accounting operations, making sure company objectives are achieved by developing and creating accounting policies and procedures through strategic planning and review
- Perform audits, identify trends, and determine system improvements and implement changes
- Create sound recommendations regarding accounting issues and concerns based on existing policies and secure approval on special circumstances
- Meet accounting objectives through monitoring of budget vs. expenditures; analyze variances to ensure proper actions are taken
- Prepare financial reports for monitoring of revenue and expenses; coordinate collection; consolidate and evaluate financial data and prepare relevant reports for management
- Maintain company financial security by establishing internal controls
- Safeguard the company by determining legal challenges, proper accounting regulations and continuously improve existing accounting procedures
- Manage and oversee other accounting functions – accounts receivable, accounts payable, audit, payroll, treasury, budgeting, taxation, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree on Accountancy or any finance-related course
- Certified Public Accountant license holder
- Proven track record of success in the field of general accounting for at least three (3) years
- Exceptional attention to details and accuracy in figures
- Ability to oversee, monitor and manage different accounting functions
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Computer literate (knowledgeable with MS Office applications especially Excel, Google applications, Email management); Knowledge in using systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Acumatica, Quickbooks and other similar applications an advantage.
