Your Role
As a
Junior Certified Public Accountant (CPA), you will support the finance and accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring tax compliance, and assisting in financial reporting and analysis.
You Will:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Record financial transactions accurately in the accounting system and perform vendor, bank, and account reconciliations
- Support the preparation of tax documentation for VAT, income tax, and other regulatory filings to ensure timely submission
- Maintain accurate financial records and schedules for internal and external audit requirements while ensuring compliance with internal controls
- Collaborate with the finance team in gathering data for budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking
Non-negotiables:
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
- Basic understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and tax compliance
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or related industries
- Exposure to financial reporting, reconciliations, or tax documentation processes
- Internship experience in accounting, auditing, or finance roles
