About the Role
SN Aboitiz Power Group is seeking a Central SHESQ Specialist to drive the consistent implementation of Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHESQ) management systems across all operating sites and project development activities. Reporting directly to the Central SHESQ Senior Manager, this role bridges corporate SHESQ strategy with site-level operational execution, fostering a mature HSE culture, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving data-led continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Site HSE Assurance: Provide technical guidance on safety risk management, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance. Analyze leading and lagging site metrics to track trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Management Systems & Governance: Review corporate SHESQ policies, facilitate ISO alignment (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 55001), and support corporate initiatives such as automation, data science projects, and safety campaigns.
- Stakeholder Interface & Coaching: Serve as the corporate focal point for Site and Project HSE Officers and Managers, offering guidance, mentorship, and technical support.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Consolidate, analyze, and present periodic SHESQ performance reports, KPI trackers, and executive dashboards to leadership.
Role Qualifications
Experience & Background:
- 3 to 5 years of experience implementing OSH, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems.
- Demonstrated experience in tracking OSH/environmental indicators, leading/supporting incident investigations, and evaluating safety risks.
- Experience organizing and managing cross-functional programs, data collection for automation, or digital SHESQ workflows is a strong advantage.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Management, or a related field.
- Preferred: 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training.
- Preferred: Safety Officer 3 (SO3) or Pollution Control Officer (PCO) accreditation.
Key Competencies:
- Comprehensive understanding of Philippine OSH laws, environmental regulations, and compliance standards (DOLE, DENR).
- Strong knowledge of integrated management systems (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 55001).
- Excellent analytical, data gathering, project management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with site personnel, management, and regulatory agencies.
