Job Summary
As a Marketing Operations Senior Coordinator, you will play a critical role in enabling the successful execution of the BMC Marketing Operations function across Oceania.
Working closely with the Marketing Operations Leader, this role is responsible for operationalising strategy through effective planning, process management, governance, and enablement across the marketing portfolio. You will act as a central coordinator and operator across multiple BMC functions, ensuring that programs are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with business priorities.
This role requires a proactive and commercially aware operator who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and build strong relationships across a global stakeholder group. You will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, enabling insights-led decision-making, and embedding scalable processes and tools to support the broader marketing ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Operations & Planning
- Support the development and ongoing management of integrated marketing plans across BMC portfolios
- Coordinate planning cycles (quarterly, annual), ensuring alignment to business priorities and timelines
- Track and manage delivery against plans, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities
Process, Governance & SOP Development
- Develop, document, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) across marketing activities
- Embed consistent processes across campaigns, reporting, budgeting, and approvals
- Ensure adherence to EY risk, compliance, and governance frameworks
Budgeting & Financial Management
- Support budget planning, tracking, and reporting across marketing activities
- Monitor spend, identify variances, and provide recommendations to optimise investment
- Coordinate with finance and relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
Insights & Performance Enablement
- Support the development of reporting frameworks and dashboards to track marketing performance
- Analyse campaign and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Translate data into actionable insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement
Tools, Platforms & SharePoint Enablement
- Support the development and ongoing management of SharePoint and other collaboration platforms
- Drive adoption of tools, templates, and knowledge repositories across BMC teams
- Ensure content, documentation, and resources are current, accessible, and aligned
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Act as a key point of coordination across BMC, BD, and broader stakeholder groups
- Prepare communications, updates, and presentations for leadership and stakeholder forums
- Build strong working relationships across global and regional teams
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce duplication, and enhance ways of working
- Drive consistency and scalability across marketing operations
- Support change initiatives and adoption of new processes, tools, and frameworks
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years experience in marketing operations, program coordination, or similar roles
- Experience in professional services, B2B marketing, or complex matrix organisations preferred
- Demonstrated experience supporting planning, reporting, and operational processes
- Strong project and workflow management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and process orientation
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and generate insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development
- Confident working independently while maintaining alignment with leadership
- Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and marketing platforms
- Strong capability in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI)
- Experience with collaboration and workflow tools
