Job Title: Category Buyer

Salary: PHP 20,000 - 40,000
We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven Category Buyer to manage the end-to-end merchandise lifecycle for a broad range of consumer electronics and tech categories.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in category supervision, merchandising, or retail operations in consumer electronics
- Experience in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors
- Strong knowledge of sales forecasting, inventory planning, and retail analytics
- Skilled in analyzing market trends, sales data, and pricing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, ERP, and retail management tools
- Willing to work onsite in South Land, Taguig
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end category management including sourcing, ordering, procurement, pricing, and vendor negotiation for assigned product lines.
- Manage 4,000 to 16,000 SKUs, ensuring accuracy in product listings, availability, and pricing strategies.
- Maintain and grow relationships with local and international vendors and suppliers of gadgets, audio equipment, storage, smart devices, and gaming products.
- Analyze sales data, category trends, and inventory movement to make informed purchasing and merchandising decisions.
- Coordinate with inventory, logistics, marketing, and sales teams to ensure smooth rollout of products across all channels.
- Execute seasonal and promotional product planning, including stock preparation and vendor coordination.
- Work independently and lead cross-functional coordination efforts, while reporting directly to the Category Manager or Department Head.
