Cashier

Job Summary

The Outlet Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The role involves processing payments, issuing receipts, maintaining accurate cash records, and supporting the smooth daily operations of the outlet.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, debit card, and other payment transactions.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change as required.
• Ensure all sales transactions are properly recorded in the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain accountability for cash funds and report discrepancies immediately.
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, services, pricing, and promotions.
• Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure accurate order processing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashiering area.
• Prepare daily sales reports and submit required documents to management.
• Follow company policies, cash handling procedures, and internal controls.
• Support outlet operations during peak business hours as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or College level; vocational courses are also welcome.
• Previous experience in cashiering, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage operations is an advantage.
• Proficient in basic mathematics and cash handling procedures.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
