Cashier is responsible for accurately processing financial transactions, ensuring seamless payment experiences for patients, and maintaining accurate cash records. This role requires excellent customer service skills to create a positive impression on patients while managing point-of-sale (POS) transactions, handling inquiries, and supporting clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Cash Handling & Transactions:
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods.
- Accurately calculate and collect payments for clinic services, treatments, and retail products.
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional funds when necessary.
- Ensure proper recording of transactions, issue receipts, and handle refunds or returns as per clinic policies.
- Customer Service & Patient Interaction:
- Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer inquiries related to services, promotions, pricing, and payment methods.
- Address patient concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Ensure a pleasant and smooth checkout experience for every patient.
- Cash Reconciliation & Reporting:
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Reconcile cash drawers, sales receipts, and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Generate and submit daily sales reports to the Finance or Clinic Manager.
- Report any discrepancies, equipment issues, or transaction errors immediately.
- Operational Support:
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk and cashier area.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies regarding payments and financial procedures.
- Support administrative tasks as required by the management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associates/Bachelors degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of cashier, front desk, or customer service experience, preferably in an aesthetic, medical, or hospitality setting.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
