Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Cashier to handle daily customer transactions and support smooth store operations. This role is ideal for candidates with prior cashier and POS system experience who are comfortable handling cash, digital payments, and customer concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments responsibly
- Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies
- Assist customers with inquiries and resolve basic concerns professionally
- Balance cash drawer and promptly report discrepancies
- Follow company security, cash-handling, and customer service standards
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with counting, restocking, and item labeling
- Ensure proper safekeeping of cash, receipts, and inventory items
Qualifications
- At least High School graduate or Bachelor's degree
- Previous cashier experience is required
- Experience using POS systems
- Strong cash-handling and basic math skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
