About the Job

We are looking for a Cashier to join the Spinneys Philippines team. The Cashier will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately, handling payments, and providing friendly and efficient service to ensure a smooth and positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other payment transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
• Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and basic concerns.
• Ensure accurate pricing, discounts, promotions, and transaction records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented cashier area.
• Perform daily cash counting, reconciliation, and other cashier-related reports.
• Coordinate with other store departments to ensure smooth and efficient customer service.
• Follow company policies, food safety standards, and security procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Supervisor or Management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or in a customer service role is an advantage.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and organized.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
