Role Description

The CASHIER/SERVER/BARISTA role at Paper Moon Cafe involves providing welcoming and efficient service to guests throughout their visit. Day-to-day tasks include taking customer orders, operating the POS system, handling cash and electronic payments accurately, and preparing coffee, beverages, and light food items according to brand standards. The role also covers serving food and drinks, maintaining cleanliness in the dining and service areas, replenishing supplies, and following food safety and hygiene guidelines. Team members coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Paper Moon Cafe in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Customer service and hospitality skills, including friendly guest interaction and the ability to handle inquiries and feedback professionally.
• Cash handling and POS operation skills, with attention to accuracy in processing payments and issuing receipts.
• Basic barista and food preparation skills, including making coffee and beverages, plating desserts, and following brand recipes.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to coordinate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic food safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices in a restaurant setting.
• Willingness to work on-site in Metro Manila, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail service role is an advantage but not strictly required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or short courses in hospitality or food service are a plus.
