Job Summary
As a Cashier at Executive Optical, you are the final point of contact in the customer's journey. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth, accurate, and professional checkout experience. You will handle financial transactions, manage sales records, and assist in maintaining the store's reputation for exceptional customer care.
Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management: Efficiently process cash, credit card, and digital wallet transactions using the store's POS system.
Documentation: Issue official receipts (OR), sales invoices, and manage warranty/guarantee cards for eyewear.
Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and handle inquiries or complaints regarding billing with a professional and helpful attitude.
Financial Accuracy: Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including cash counting and reconciliation of sales reports.
Administrative Support: Maintain organized records of daily transactions and assist in inventory monitoring of optical products.
Product Knowledge: Briefly explain payment terms, ongoing promotions, and discount schemes (like Senior Citizen/PWD discounts) to customers.
Job Qualifications
Education: At least a Senior High School graduate (with Diploma).
Experience: Minimum of 6 months related experience in cashiering or retail sales.
Technical Skills: Knowledgeable in POS operations, handling card terminals, and basic MS Office (Excel).
Personality: Possesses a Pleasing Personalitysomeone who is well-groomed, approachable, and delights customers.
Integrity: Must be highly honest and meticulous with numbers and documentation.
