Job Description

  • Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Accept cash, and other online platform mode of payment from customers
  • Calculate and tender change accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
  • Report any suspicious activities or security concerns to store management or security personnel.
  • Provide product information, answer questions, and offer recommendations to customers.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in inventory reconciliation processes.
  • Adhere to store policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, security, and safety.
  • Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and free of clutter.
