ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced CASA / Common Services SME to join a major core banking transformation program built on Oracle FLEXCUBE.
The successful candidate will serve as the functional SME for Current Account/Savings Account (CASA) and Common Services, taking ownership of requirements analysis, To-Be solution design, integration, testing, migration, and cutover activities.
This is a hands-on implementation role, not an advisory-only position. Candidates must have proven experience delivering end-to-end core banking transformation projects and be comfortable working directly with product vendors, business stakeholders, technical teams, and solution architects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CASA & Common Services
- Analyze CASA workflows covering account opening, maintenance, and transaction processing.
- Support Oracle FLEXCUBE CASA and Common Services configuration and solution design.
- Support related modules such as OBPY, where applicable.
- Drive requirements analysis and To-Be solution design throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Provide SME support from requirements through build, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
Integration & Interface Design
- Support data mapping and integration design between CASA/Common Services and payments, GL, and reporting systems.
- Design and support integrations using:
- MQ
- REST APIs
- SOAP APIs
- File-based interfaces
- Prepare and maintain Interface Specification Documents (ISDs) and functional/technical design documents.
- Support message transformation requirements, including ISO 20022, where applicable.
- Coordinate reviews and obtain sign-off from upstream and downstream teams.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders, interface teams, Solution Architecture, and platform vendors.
- Work directly with product vendors to validate capabilities, configuration options, limitations, and gaps.
- Challenge and validate proposed solutions and drive decisions on the To-Be design.
- Manage stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor teams.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and escalate risks and issues.
Testing, Migration & Go-Live
- Support SIT and UAT planning and execution.
- Triage integration and functional defects and coordinate resolution with vendors and delivery teams.
- Support data mapping, migration validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Participate in cutover planning and go-live readiness activities.
- Provide hypercare support following implementation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Proven, hands-on experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE implementation.
- Strong implementation experience specifically covering CASA and Common Services.
- Solid understanding of CASA account lifecycle and Common Services configuration.
- Experience delivering end-to-end core banking transformation/implementation projects.
- Strong background in data mapping and interface design.
- Experience preparing and obtaining sign-off for ISDs and integration design documents.
- Experience working directly with product vendors and challenging/validating proposed solutions.
- Ability to independently drive requirements, solutioning, documentation, approvals, testing, and delivery.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with business users, technical teams, architects, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Business Objects is preferred.
- Must be based in the Philippines for the entire duration of the project.
