Requirements
Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus
Ability to read technical documents and drawings
Familiarity with carpentry tools and equipment
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
Strong physical condition and stamina
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's license may be required
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites
Basic math skills for measuring and estimating
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials
Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes
Install structures and fixtures such as windows, cabinets, and molding
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Follow building plans and local building codes
Collaborate with other construction professionals
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Ensure a clean and safe work environment
Estimate materials and time required for projects
Provide progress updates to supervisors or clients
