About The Team

Monee Credit is the financing arm within Monee providing consumers, entrepreneurs, and businesses with more flexibility and freedom to achieve their aspirations. Our products aim to help underbanked or New-to-Credit users get easy access to funds to make more purchases on the Shopee platform

  • SPayLater is our consumer financing solution that aims to help our users gain financial freedom with fewer limitations all through a seamless digital experience. SPayLater offers Shopee users the freedom to buy immediately, but with the choice of paying for their purchases later.
  • SLoan for Sellers is the Seller/SME Loans product that will allow sellers to take out loans to finance their Shopee business operations.
  • SLoans is the Consumer Cash Loans product that will allow users to take out cash loans

Who You'll Work With

  • Business Leaders and Hiring Managers to align operational priorities and drive outcomes
  • Cross-functional partners such as Product, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure seamless execution and issue resolution
  • External partners including Mastercard, 3PLs, card vendors, and other service providers to manage operational, technical, and cost-related matters

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and manage end-to-end card operations, including card fulfillment, inventory management, disputes and chargebacks, fee exception handling, and operational reporting
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce process gaps and mitigate operational risk
  • Ensure consistent adherence to SLAs, procedures, and accuracy standards across all card operations activities
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners to address operational issues, system enhancements, and cost optimization opportunities
  • Forecast, monitor, and manage card inventory levels to support business demand and growth
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to build a capable and high-performing team
  • Identify and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and risk management

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 35 years of experience in card operations, payments operations, or financial services operations
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a small team
  • Strong understanding of card transaction reconciliation, settlements, and clearing processes
  • Hands-on experience managing disputes and chargebacks, including scheme rules and acquirer interactions
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors (e.g., card printers, couriers, destruction vendors)
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and operational reporting tools
  • A process-oriented mindset with a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and risk reduction
