About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Canva Template Designer / Production Specialist to recreate existing marketing collateral as fully editable Canva templates.

You will work from supplied PDF designs, brand guidelines and approved assets, preserving the original layouts, typography, colors and brand identities. The role focuses on accurate template reconstruction and high-volume design production.

Key Responsibilities

Recreate single-page and multi-page PDF designs as native, editable Canva templates.
Preserve original dimensions, layouts, page sequence, typography, colors and imagery.
Configure editable text, image frames, locked elements and reusable components.
Apply approved logos, custom fonts and brand assets consistently across multiple brands.
Prepare templates for downstream data-field mapping, where required.
Check every template against the source PDF for accuracy, editability and export quality.
Prepare print-ready PDF exports, including bleed and crop marks where applicable.
Escalate missing assets, unavailable fonts and design limitations before proceeding.
Follow naming conventions, folder structures and access requirements.
Maintain production trackers, organized Canva links and quality-check records.
Meet agreed delivery targets and incorporate review feedback promptly.

Qualifications

Preferably 3–5 years of experience in graphic design, layout design or creative production.
Strong hands-on Canva skills, particularly in building editable templates.
Experience recreating existing designs from PDFs or other reference materials.
Strong understanding of typography, spacing, alignment, grids and document layout.
Experience producing brochures, flyers, presentations or other multi-page collateral.
Ability to follow multiple brand guidelines with a high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with print specifications and PDF export settings.
Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills.
Comfortable managing repetitive production tasks and tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Marq, formerly Lucidpress, or similar publishing platforms.
Migrating designs from Adobe InDesign or Illustrator into Canva.
Canva Bulk Create, data-driven templates or dynamic content workflows.
Real estate marketing collateral or multi-brand design production.
