Cantonese Translator

The Cantonese Translator is responsible for translating invoices, financial documents, and related communications from Cantonese to English and vice versa. Working closely with the Accounts Payable (AP) Team, this role ensures the accurate interpretation and processing of invoice details to support timely and compliant payment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate invoices, billing statements, purchase documents, and other financial records from Cantonese to English and vice versa.
• Partner closely with the Accounts Payable Team to facilitate the accurate review and processing of invoices.
• Interpret and communicate invoice details, payment-related inquiries, and vendor correspondence to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure translated materials accurately reflect the original content, context, and financial information.
• Review and verify translated documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Assist the Accounts Payable Team in resolving language-related issues and discrepancies involving Cantonese-speaking vendors or stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records, payment information, and business documents.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing translation and interpretation services as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a Bachelor's Degree in any field, preferably in Business Management.
• Must be Fluent in Cantonese and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in translation, interpretation, or language support roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with invoices, finance, accounting, or Accounts Payable processes is an advantage.
