Cameraman, Manila Bureau (TV News International) (2-year contract)

Responsibilities

You will be based in Manila, Philippines, and will be responsible for filming and editing a variety of video content to support news and current affairs coverage. Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Advising on and carrying out optimal technical setup for filming and production, including, but not limited to, shooting with different types of cameras, location lighting and location sound recording
• Operating LiveU, BGAN or similar bonded cellular/satellite devices
• Managing and maintaining technical equipment including cameras, video editing facilities, LiveU/BGAN/similar bonded cellular/satellite devices
• You will work closely with the bureau correspondent and other bureau staff, as well as desk editors, producers and assistant producers at the headquarters in Singapore
• You will be required to travel to other parts of Philippines and outside the country as needed
• You will be required to work in different environments and situations, e.g. disaster zones, high-risk areas, protests etc
  
  

Qualifications

• Diploma in Digital Audio, Video Production, Electronic, Film Sound and Video or Mass Communication
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Possess basic knowledge of non-linear editing and file transfer protocol
• Good team player and prepared to work on irregular shifts including weekends and public holidays
