Your Role

As a Call Center Representative (Healthcare), You Will

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and healthcare services.
  • Conduct standard triaging to determine the appropriate level of care or next steps for patients.
  • Perform accurate data entry for patient intake and ensure all information is properly documented in the system.
  • Maintain wrap-up time within 60 seconds after each call to support operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Handle sensitive patient information with strict confidentiality and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient coordination.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare call center or similar environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, triaging procedures, and patient intake processes
  • Strong computer navigation and data entry skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of patient privacy and HIPAA compliance standards

Preferred Skills / Expertise

  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service quality
  • Proven ability to meet established accuracy and productivity standards
