Your Role

As a Healthcare Call Center Representative, you will support patient care operations by managing inbound calls, patient intake, and triaging responsibilities while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.

You Will

  • Handle patient inquiries, appointment scheduling, and healthcare-related concerns
  • Perform standard triaging to identify appropriate next steps or levels of care
  • Accurately complete patient intake and data entry tasks within internal systems
  • Maintain wrap-up times of less than 60 seconds after each interaction
  • Meet established productivity and accuracy standards
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Coordinate with providers, administrative teams, and internal departments for seamless patient support
  • Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and empathy

What You Need

Non-Negotiables

  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare call center or similar healthcare support environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, patient intake, and triaging procedures
  • Strong computer navigation and data entry skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of patient privacy and healthcare compliance standards

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using healthcare CRM platforms or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
