The CAD Operator/Draftsman of Victor Consunji Development Corporation is in charge of the following: Executing construction plans for the site, scrutinizing the layout closely and thoroughly, coordinating with respective consultants, and liaising with site engineers about the construction phase or any changes in the plans, producing sections and details to demonstrate practical CAD illustrations, familiar in structural designs, and knowledgeable in using AutoCAD Software, Auto Desk, Sketch, and Photoshop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creates manual and computer-based drawings, two or three-dimensional, according to the client's requirements or the construction and development team. Actively monitor the work environment for hazards.
- Responsible for the visual representation of the building or the structure for the developers.
- Incorporates changes or modifications according to the suggestions of the architect or the engineer.
- Remains in touch with the architects and engineers to add to the value of the work and add aesthetic value to the sketches.
- Responsible for the processing, printing, and delivery of approved drawings.
- Develop 3D Designs from 2D product concepts/sketching.
- Prepares graphic rendering works (Photoshop), and 3D Rendering works (Sketch-Up) of conceptual layout plans, sections, elevation, and perspective.
- Supervision of day-to-day operations of the site work. Responsible for daily site work.
- Follow up to ensure that work is being carried out as per design drawings, and specifications & meeting planned schedule dates; Interact with the Site Engineer of the Contractor or subcontractor and Project Manager for clarification in design and conduct regular job inspections.
- Ensure that Communication regarding any plan changes has reached the engineers/Contractors and Subcontractor's Representatives.
- Assist in the quality and safety audit; Identify and highlight possible risks on the project; Assist in the necessary documentation.
- Accurately inventory the job site and ensure that the supplies are properly maintained. Coordination for verification of extra claims raised by the contractor.
- Oversee and check Site Junior CAD output. Train quality and standard design of Victor Consunji Development Corporation.
- Performs related duties and projects as assigned.
- Reports to the Vice President of Construction
Qualifications:
- A graduate of an Engineering/Architecture Course
- At least one year to 3 years of experience in the Real Estate and Construction industry
- Advanced knowledge and experience in using AutoCAD Software.
- Proficient in computer software applications (MS Windows Applications).
- Keen to detail: Analyze and review engineering data and components to ensure compliance with the original plans and designs.
- Time management skills: Meets all deadlines, reviews all work for completeness and accuracy, focuses on the task, and meets the VCDC standard.
- Analytic and logical to details and decision making: Determining all aspects in reviewing plans and synthesizing all ideas and factors from the instruction of superior or site engineers.
- Willing to be assigned in Quezon City
