JOB OVERVIEW
The CAD Operator will support the design and delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure works for the Pakil Pumped Storage Project. The role focuses on digital terrain modeling, civil infrastructure design, and BIM-based coordination, ensuring accurate, high-quality models for construction and planning purposes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage Digital Terrain Models (DTMs) using survey and LiDAR data.
- Model civil infrastructure including roads, earthworks, cut-and-fill volumes, underground works, and spoil disposal areas using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Maintain correct project base points and coordinate systems to align models with Revit and other BIM deliverables.
- Collaborate within a Level 2 BIM environment and use CDE tools (ACC / BIM 360) for model sharing and coordination.
- Support engineers and BIM teams in resolving modeling and design coordination issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related technical field.
- Experience: 6+ years in civil infrastructure projects, with proven exposure to large-scale infrastructure works.
- BIM & Software: Minimum 3+ years in Level 2 BIM environments; expert in Autodesk Civil 3D; InfraWorks knowledge preferred.
- CDE Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
