Role Description The CAD Instructor – SolidWorks will deliver classroom and laboratory instruction on SolidWorks and related CAD concepts in an on-site setting at Feati University in Manila. This full-time role includes preparing lesson plans, developing learning materials, and designing assessments aligned with program outcomes and industry standards. The instructor will guide learners through practical projects, demonstrations, and exercises to build proficiency in 3D modeling, drafting, and design workflows. Ongoing responsibilities include monitoring learner performance, providing constructive feedback, maintaining course records, and collaborating with colleagues to refine curriculum content. The role may also involve mentoring learners on design best practices, staying current with SolidWorks updates, and contributing to departmental initiatives that enhance teaching quality and learning experiences.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and related technical disciplines, with familiarity in CAD applications and engineering or design principles.
- Proficiency in Programming concepts that support parametric modeling, automation, or customization within SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
- Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to diverse learners and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Experience in Curriculum Development, including creating lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments for CAD or technical courses.
- Demonstrated Teaching experience or training background, preferably in CAD, engineering, or technology-oriented subjects.
- Hands-on expertise with SolidWorks, including part and assembly modeling, drawings, and simulation or analysis tools.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or a related field; relevant certifications in SolidWorks or CAD instruction are an advantage.
- Ability to facilitate in-person classes in Manila, manage laboratory environments safely, and support learners with varying skill levels.
