Overview
Join a rapidly growing precision scanning company that is scaling its operations from two to five projects weekly. We are seeking a skilled CAD and Revit designer to create accurate technical drawings and plans for various commercial and residential projects. This flexible, remote role requires a minimum of 20 hours per week, with strong potential to transition into full-time employment as workload increases. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, precise drawings with efficient turnaround times, typically ranging from one to three days.
Schedule
- Flexible schedule, minimum 20 hours per week (can be structured as 3 full days or 4 hours per day).
- Must complete projects within 1-3 days depending on urgency. Time zone flexibility mentioned - can work within client's time zone or flexible as long as deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Create accurate CAD files for various projects based on scan data and client specifications.
- Develop Revit files for projects of varying sizes and complexity.
- Produce reflective ceiling plans when required by specific clients.
- Generate power plans as needed for certain projects.
- Ensure all drawings meet quality standards and client specifications, with particular attention to details such as wall thickness and dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain quick turnaround times while prioritizing accuracy and quality.
- Communicate effectively regarding project status, timelines, and any technical clarifications needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience creating CAD files with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Revit software and file creation.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and specifications.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for clarifying project requirements and providing status updates.
- Reliable internet connection and appropriate hardware for design work.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
- Experience creating reflective ceiling plans.
- Experience creating power plans.
- Background working with precision scan data or point cloud information.
- Previous experience working with clients in the construction or architectural industries.
- Familiarity with projects ranging from small residential to larger commercial spaces (6,000+ square feet).
