Position Overview: We are seeking a Cabinet/Countertop Draftsperson to design cabinets and countertops for multi-unit projects. This role involves preparing new shop drawings and revising existing drawings based on architectural plans, notes, and specifications provided by general contractors, architects, and designers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, architectural legends, and cabinet drawings.
- Using AutoCAD, prepare new shop drawings and revise existing drawings based on project requirements.
- Manage drawing revision control, document filing, and related project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, including general contractors, builders, and developers.
- Prepare order lists and coordinate orders with suppliers.
- Prepare change order proposals and review related documentation such as RFIs, ASIs, and other project documents.
- Support other team members and departments as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Design, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in the cabinet and/or countertop industry, including knowledge of materials, finishes, styles, production, assembly, and installation.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A quick learning ability, with consistency and a detail-oriented mindset.
- Native-level fluency in spoken and written English.
- Willingness to work flexible hours overlapping with US business hours.
- A reliable internet connection and laptop.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $9,000-$10,000 annual, depending on experience
Bonus: Dependent upon individual and business performance
Additional benefits: Opportunity to train in US
Primary Location: Remote Metro Manila Preferred.
Secondary Locations: DMV Area, Baltimore, and others as necessary
Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00AM-12:00PM (US East Coast Time).
