What's The Role All About
The role involves managing and overseeing the implementation of the aircraft cabin maintenance program, cabin and IFE defect repairs, and modifications contracted to the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization. This is done under contract provisions and other related services for all PAL-owned and/or operated aircraft, ensuring efficient and effective execution.
Who Are We Looking For
- College or University Graduate (Preferably bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Avionics Technology, Aircraft Maintenance Technology, Mechanical, Electronics Engineer, & Electrical Engineer)
- Licensed Aeronautical Engineer; experience in avionics or Aircraft Maintenance Technology (AMT) is an advantage
- With hands-on experience in Cabin Systems and In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) maintenance
- Willing to work on a shifting schedule
Major Responsibilities
- Oversee the cabin maintenance team performing inspections, repairs, and modifications on cabin and IFE system
- Coordinate cabin defect rectification and ensure timely resolution of cabin-related MEL (Minimum Equipment List) items
- Lead the cabin retrofit or modification projects in line with fleet upgrade program
- Work closely with Engineering, Line Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to ensure regulatory and OEM compliance
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance for cabin and in-flight entertainment-related system
- Compliance with applicable aviation authorities regulations and approved standards, regular submission of required reports/documents/data, and ensuring references are made available to all personnel responsible for handling aircraft airworthiness
- Analyze deviations or proposed action plans regarding the resolutions of significant technical problem areas that lower aircraft cabin products availability and/or higher maintenance cost
- Provide support and assistance in providing data relevant to notifying the relevant offices in cases of aircraft incidents/accidents
