CAAS Energy Land - Owner Relations Specialist

We are seeking a customer-focused, organized CAAS Energy Land - Owner Relations Specialist to facilitate communication between royalty/working interest owners, vendors, and internal oil & gas accounting departments. You will handle incoming calls, manage land and owner records, route complex inquiries, and maintain high owner satisfaction across North American energy accounts.
Your Impact
Owner Call Handling & Inquiry Routing: Answer incoming calls regarding revenue, land, division orders, Joint Interest Billing (JIB), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and Accounts Payable (A/P); route inquiries to appropriate internal teams for prompt resolution.
Owner Record Maintenance & Data Verification: Update and maintain owner information (addresses, TINs, email details) across client databases; verify undeliverable checks and coordinate with Division Order Analysts to suspend accounts or issue address change forms.
Inquiry Logging & Mail Sorting: Review, sort, and distribute incoming mail for the land administration team while logging owner communications to maintain low case counts and fast resolution times.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Division Order, Land, and Accounting teams to resolve vendor setup and payment processing issues, participating in cross-training initiatives to continuously optimize owner experience.
What You Bring
The Experience:2 to 3 years of recent office or customer service experience; prior experience in energy, oil & gas, land administration, or real estate is a strong plus.
Conflict Management & Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal English communication; proven ability to manage difficult or emotional caller situations with composure and professionalism.
Software Competency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), softphone systems (Teams, Zoom, etc.), and the ability to adapt quickly to specialized database software.
Core Competencies: Ability to multi-task under strict deadlines, sharp attention to detail, proactive process improvement mindset, and strong organizational skills.
Education: No degree or specific licensure required.
