C .NET Developer - Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview

At NeST Digital, we foster a dynamic environment where professionals can learn, grow, and innovate. We're currently seeking talented C#, .NET developers with Winforms skills to join programs driven by our Smart Technology Center in Trivandrum - to design and develop mission critical applications for the industrial manufacturing domain. The candidate will have complete, end-to-end ownership of the application, spanning the entire life-cycle. The ideal candidate is expected to have a solid experience in the .NET technology stack and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy robust applications for industrial use.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C#, Winforms
• Translate complex industrial requirements into innovative software solutions.
• Develop and integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and hardware interfaces.
• Conduct unit testing, debug applications, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for future reference.
• Ensure application performance, uptime and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality
• Engage with UX designers and front-end engineers, collaborate with back-end systems and engineers to create reliable APIs
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices
  
  

Experience

• At least 4-8 yrs years of Industry experience in building Windows desktop applications
• Experience in designing and integrating third party systems through interfaces and APIs
  
  

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, Winforms
• Hands-on experience with Windows application development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in integration of front-end and back-end components to meet system requirements
• Working knowledge of common design patters and application architectures
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills
• Knowledge in unit/integration testing
  
  

Qualifications

• MCA/Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering
• Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies
• Professional certifications
