Job Summary

We are seeking a Buyer to lead the end-to-end development of private label products, from concept creation and supplier sourcing to market launch. The role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, driving category profitability, analyzing market trends and consumer insights, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and quality standards. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, product development expertise, and analytical skills to grow market share and maximize business performance. Candidates must be willing to work in Parañaque City.

Job Responsibilities

• Private Label Development: Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for private label/house-brand items, from concept ideation and specification to packaging design and market launch.
• Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and cultivate partnerships with local and international contract manufacturers. Negotiate optimal pricing, payment terms, and minimum order quantities (MOQs).
• Category Profitability: Formulate and manage category budgets, analyze sales data, and drive targeted strategies to increase market share and margin.
• Market & Trend Analysis: Conduct deep dives into consumer behavior, competitor pricing, and industry trends to keep the portfolio fresh and relevant.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all OTC and non-pharma products strictly adhere to FDA regulations (e.g., proper labeling, GMP standards), collaborating closely with quality assurance teams.

Job Qualifications :

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field. A degree or background in Pharmacy is highly desired for OTC categories.
• Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in purchasing, merchandising, or category management, with proven exposure to FMCG, retail, or private label sectors.

Skills:

• Exceptional negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Strong financial and business acumen (P&L management, forecasting).
• Proficiency in utilizing SAP, POWER BI and MS Excel.
