Job Description

Job Summary:

The Buyer sources, negotiates, and purchases materials or products to support operational needs. The role includes evaluating suppliers, managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring timely, high-quality deliveries in line with company standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best price, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and adequate inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define purchasing needs and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or invoices.
  • Monitor market trends, supplier conditions, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of work experience in merchandising, buying, or related retail functions.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with retail/merchandising systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
