Overall Responsibility
Responsible for sourcing, ordering, and delivery of all imported items and local raw materials and packaging with the right quality, best price, and on time. Gives updates if there are current changes in government importation requirements and documentation.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinates with end users/requisitioning departments regarding specifications and details of purchasing requirements.
- Handles efficient sourcing and procurement of imported items and local raw materials and packaging and printing office supplies for the affiliates. Recommends to the Jr. Manager the best price, terms, and source.
- Prepares purchase orders and other necessary documents for imported materials. Coordinates with Finance/Accounting and banks on required documentation. Monitors the timely shipment and delivery of orders.
- Submits to government agencies the required importation documents and secures permits to import and transport to the plant.
- Implements supplier sourcing, evaluation, and accreditation procedures; recommends to superior course of action whenever necessary.
- Handles special projects as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
- Handles the purchases of office printing supplies, receipts, and forms.

Qualifications Of The Position
- Engineering Graduate or Customs Administration
- With at least 2 years of related work experience, and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
- Computer literate, preferably with a background in SAP or Oracle NetSuite
