Job Description
SALARY: PHP25,000-40,000 (depending on your background)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Has responsibility for operational procurement of spare parts, consumables and/or services for one or more operational assets;
Forwards spares and other commodities for all types of forwarding modes and urgencies;
Contacts and problem-solves with vendors and suppliers;
Main point of contact for all transactional purchasing processes to their assigned vessel
Maintain and further develop positive performance-driven relationships between key business unit stakeholders and MSS procurement
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure the availability of items and smooth operation onboard the vessel
Provide input on supplier performance based on daily interaction Ensure timely payment of invoices
All roles and responsibilities should be performed in compliance to the standard process
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational background in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related areas.
At least 2 years of Procurement experience within the area of logistics, importation, and supply chain - It is an advantage if you have experience from the offshore/global industry
You have strong interpersonal skills and are able to work independently
You are a self-starter and take responsibility and ownership if you see areas to improve
Good written and oral communication skills in English
Computer literate, tech Savvy, with experience in procurement and ERP systems (IFS is HIGHLY PREFERRED)
Willing to work in HYBRID SETUP (Rockwell Business Center, Mandaluyong)
Open to working in European time, 2PM-10PM PhST
Willing to work for 6-month project-based employment (open to absorption/extension but depending on the business needs and performance)
