About the Role
The Business Unit Manager will lead the overall operations and profitability of the Aura Athletica Business Unit. Reporting directly to the Merchandise and Product Development Director, the role is responsible for driving sales growth, operational efficiency, brand management, and business expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets
- Lead and manage the overall performance of the Aura Athletica Business Unit
- Coordinate merchandise buying and inventory management with the Merchandising team
- Partner with Marketing and CRM teams for product, brand, and sales training initiatives
- Supervise store administration and operations alongside Store Supervisors and Managers
- Support staff evaluation, coaching, and development in partnership with HR
- Expand product lines and improve merchandise mix aligned with brand positioning
- Lead marketing, PR, events, and visual merchandising initiatives
- Drive business development efforts through market analysis, competitive research, and partnership opportunities
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in retail management, brand management, or commercial leadership
- Proven experience managing P&L and driving business growth
- Strong background in data analytics, trend forecasting, and strategic planning
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field
- Strong leadership and organizational management experience
