Must have a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Engineering or related program.
Must have at 2 years of experience with both SAP programs for financial and accounting process (SAP FICO).
Must have experience in systems implementation support, roll-out, upgrade and maintenance.
Must have planning and task organization skills for efficient execution of activities.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing IT systems supporting Petron's financial departments, ensuring both technical and functional effectiveness.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of SAP and non-SAP applications used by Controllers, Treasurers, and Planners.
Acts as both a service provider and advisor, aligning IT services with business requirements.
Leads coordination with vendors and teams, balancing service delivery with cost, value and governance.
Overall responsibility for information technology that enables Petron's financial functions.
Techno-functional in nature - with equal emphasis on understanding technical matters and functional aspects of the scope assigned.
Accountable over the design, development, operations and maintenance for the application/s that are used by Petron's Controllers, Treasurers, Business Planning & Development departments.
Understand the functions of those departments and how it drives the business performance of Petron.
Understand the stakeholders of Petron's Financial business systems. This role is both a service provider and an advisor to the business.
While IT service delivery is a primary consideration, the business systems associate is also expected to recognize how to balance this with cost, value, governance, security and compliance considerations.
Supervise and coordinate work with various vendor/s or staff augmentation resources.
