ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is responsible for supporting, administering, and enhancing enterprise business systems across the organization, with a primary focus on ERP and finance-related platforms. The role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring systems are optimized, maintained, and aligned to business needs. The Business Systems Analyst will contribute to system improvements, manage incidents and changes in line with ITIL processes, and support ongoing transformation initiatives involving ERP and CRM platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide day-to-day administration, support, and maintenance of ERP and associated finance systems.

Act as the first point of contact for system-related issues, managing incidents and service requests in line with ITIL practices.

Partner with Finance and other business units to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.

Configure, test, and deploy system changes, enhancements, and integrations.

Support month-end, year-end, and other critical finance processes from a systems perspective.

Maintain system documentation, including processes, configurations, and knowledge articles.

Participate in system upgrades, patches, and implementation projects.

Assist with integration and data flow between ERP, CRM and other business systems.

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across systems.

Identify opportunities for process automation and system optimization.

Support user training and adoption of systems and new functionality.

Collaborate with vendors and external partners when required (Business Systems Manager, Architecture Team, Cybersecurity Team, Infrastructure Team, Finance team (Financial Control, AP/AR, FP&A), IT Service Desk and Infrastructure teams, Business unit stakeholders, External vendors & system partners and, Project managers and delivery teams).

UNIQUE QUALITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

Bachelor's Degree related to IT, Finance, Business or any STEM field.

Willing to accept a 12-month fixed term work.

Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Systems Administrator.

Experience in working in related industries, Insurance, Finance and Banking.

Experience with Netsuite.

Strong hands-on experience with ERP.

Experience supporting finance systems and processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting).

Exposure to CRM platforms.

Understanding and practical application of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Experience in system integrations and data workflows desirable.

Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn.

Reliable and effective support of Business systems.

Timely resolution of incidents and service requests in line with SLAs.

Successful delivery of system enhancements and improvements.

Creation and maintenance of documentation and project artifacts.

Strong stakeholder satisfaction and engagement.

Improved system usability, efficiency, and data integrity.

Effective adherence to ITIL processes and governance standards.
