Business System Analyst

Role Summary

The bridge between business and delivery — owning requirements, documentation, testing, training, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

• Document current and future workflows and requirements.
• Define acceptance criteria and metric logic.
• Track assumptions, decisions, dependencies and UAT sign-off.
• Lead testing, training and change management.
• Maintain shared delivery documentation.

Requirements

• 4–7 years as a business or systems analyst on data/analytics initiatives.
• Experience with requirements, UAT, training, and change management.
• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field.
• Willingness to work onsite during night shift hours (between 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM start time).

Technical and Tool Familiarity

• Requirements and documentation practices and tooling.
• SQL and BI familiarity (Sigma, Power BI).
• Test management and UAT practices.
• Delivery tracking (e.g., Monday.com).

Key Competencies

• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Rigorous and organized; nothing falls through the cracks.
• Bridges business and technical language.
• Comfortable facilitating UAT and training.
• Takes ownership of clarity.

Decision Authority

• Decides: documentation standards, acceptance-criteria structure, UAT plan.
• Owns: requirements record, decision log, training materials.
• Shares: metric logic (with the Analytics Engineer), scope (with the Product Owner).
• Escalates: unresolved requirements or sign-off risks to the Product Owner.
