Role Overview
As part of our Commercial Transformation, the Business Solution and Development Specialist is responsible for designing tailored logistics and commercial structures for high-value prospects. You will move beyond selling services to managing assets, ensuring that every solution is optimized for both the client's supply chain efficiency and our internal financial health.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Client Profiling
- Conduct deep-dive profiling for Tier 1, 2, and 3 clients to understand their unique pain points.
- Perform supply chain consultations to identify gaps in current trade routes and provide route optimization strategies.
- Develop comprehensive commercial structures that align with the Compliance-as-a-Service model.
2. Commercial Development
- Collaborate with Marketing and Pricing to transition leads from the Discovery phase into actionable business cases.
- Vet client creditworthiness and target short-term cycles to ensure healthy cash flow (DSO management).
- Structure deals that prioritize Cash is King—balancing competitive service with financial liquidity.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work directly under the Commercial Head to prepare Tier 1 & 2 deals for final negotiation and closing.
- Liaise with the Pricing Team to ensure volume-based pricing is scalable and profitable.
- Hand off successfully launched accounts to the Key Account Management (KAM) team for long-term portfolio health and upselling.
