Job Title: MPD Manager - Logistics
Job Purpose
We are looking for an MPD Manager Logistics who will serve as the end-to-end (E2E) process expert for Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Logistics across all in-scope business units within SMRI. This is an Individual Contributor role that works closely with business units and support groups to drive process excellence and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
- Act as the E2E process and systems subject matter expert for Warehouse Management Systems and Logistics
- Partner with the MPD VP to identify challenges, pain points, and improvement opportunities across current processes
- Lead and support process re-engineering initiatives to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability
- Assist in project managing multiple process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Business Units (Merchandising, Store Operations) and Support Groups (IT, MPD, Logistics, Finance/Accounting, etc.)
- Coordinate with ITS to ensure business requirements are accurately captured and aligned with operational needs
- Develop, maintain, and update end-to-end process documentation
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or a related field
- At least eight (8) years of experience in a process improvement or SME role working with cross-functional teams
- At least eight (8) years of experience in retail or a related industry
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Six Sigma certification is an advantage but not required
