Job Description

Overview

The Business Process Manager (BPM) will lead business process review, optimization and operational efficiency initiatives across Satellite Office. This role is responsible for identifying inefficiencies, simplifying workflows, standardizing operational practices, and introducing AI-enabled automation to reduce manual and repetitive activities.

The BPM will work closely with business leaders and operational teams to assess current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement practical solutions that improve productivity, turnaround times, quality, scalability and employee experience.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring strong analytical capability, operational thinking, stakeholder engagement and practical understanding of AI tools and automation technologies. The BPM is expected to drive measurable business outcomes through continuous process improvement and operational transformation initiatives.

A strong emphasis will be placed on introducing modern AI-enabled ways of working, including workflow automation, knowledge management optimization, reporting automation, document processing improvements and employee productivity enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Review & Documentation

  • Conduct end-to-end reviews of operational and business processes across all departments
  • Develop and maintain a centralized inventory of business process documentation for the organization
  • Create and maintain process maps, SOPs, workflows, decision trees and operational documentation
  • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, duplication, inefficiencies, manual workarounds and operational risks
  • Establish baseline operational metrics for key business processes
  • Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency
  • Lead process redesign and optimization initiatives across business functions
  • Standardize workflows, templates, controls and operational practices where appropriate
  • Reduce process complexity, turnaround times and manual effort
  • Identify and implement opportunities for productivity improvement and cost optimization
  • Facilitate root cause analysis sessions and corrective action planning
  • Deliver measurable operational efficiency improvements across targeted business processes

AI & Automation Enablement

  • Identify repetitive and manual activities suitable for AI and workflow automation
  • Introduce practical AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Evaluate and recommend AI and automation tools aligned with business requirements
  • Partner with Technology teams to implement automation initiatives where required
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled productivity practices across business teams
  • Develop AI-assisted workflow approaches for documentation, reporting, approvals, knowledge retrieval and operational tasks
  • Maintain awareness of emerging AI technologies and assess practical business use cases

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

  • Engage department leaders and operational teams to understand business pain points and improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and process review sessions
  • Present findings, recommendations and improvement roadmaps to leadership teams
  • Support user adoption and change management activities during process changes
  • Build strong working relationships across business and technology teams

Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish process governance standards and continuous improvement practices
  • Define and track operational KPIs for process performance and efficiency
  • Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor process outcomes
  • Provide regular updates on improvement initiatives, automation progress and efficiency gains
  • Ensure process improvements align with compliance, audit and operational requirements

Key Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Information Systems, Technology or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
  • Operational excellence
  • Business transformation and Business process improvement
  • Process optimization and automation initiatives
  • Experience working across multiple business functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record delivering measurable operational efficiency improvements

Certifications
