Business Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support process redesign initiatives, including current-state analysis and future-state process design.
• Manage complex initiatives spanning multiple business process segments, identifying risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Complete integrated process analyses, identifying procedural and control deficiencies and recommending practical, compliant solutions.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on process issues and partner with stakeholders to drive sustainable resolution.
• Consult with business partners and leaders to understand requirements, influence outcomes, and evaluate alternative solutions.
• Interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements within process designs.
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve business objectives.
• Engage internal customers and stakeholders across functions and geographies.
• Receive direction from leaders while exercising independent judgment and building deep understanding of business processes and controls.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Process Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 4+ Experience leveraging automation and low-code tools: Power Automate/Power Apps, to support process improvements.
• Experience performing process analysis, documentation, and improvement initiatives across complex environments.
• Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Proficiency with process documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, SharePoint, advanced Excel).
• Ability to review and interpret process design documentation and partner with onshore/global teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with Python or scripting for data analysis or process insights.
• Experience with Risk Identification techniques, including RCSA, Root Cause Analysis, control reviews/testing, and audit support.
• Exposure to process testing, validation, and readiness coordination with onshore or cross-functional teams.
