Job Summary
- This role is responsible for providing support to Wealth Management Group (WMG) in operationalizing policies by creating guidelines, procedures and process flows. In addition, the Business Process and Risk Manager provides system enhancement and development support in relation to WMG's internal systems.
How will you contribute
- Act as Deputy Compliance Officer (DCO) or the Deputy Operations Risk Officer (DORO) to perform activities (e.g., compliance testing, control sample testing, etc.) related to DCO and DORO functions to ensure compliance on risk, regulatory and governance requirements.
- Reviews Bank and regulatory policies and circulars and perform gap analysis based on its applicability to Wealth Management Group.
- Ensures External Service Providers (ESP) are compliant with the requirements for accreditation.
- Ensures Service Level Agreements and ESPs renewal requirements compliance. Conduct Annual Performance Review and independent Agency Visits.
- Deliver the required output which can be any or a combination of the following:
- a. Operations Manuals, Service Level Agreements, circulars, procedures and guidelines for the group's processes
- b. Implementation review
- c. Deployment support of new/enhanced systems and processes
- d. Time and motion of WMG processes if needed
- Supports maintenance functions on the Wealth Management system (e.g. UAT) and performs other roles in the system development life cycle (SDLC), as needed.
- Acts as primary maker for product code definition, security code mapping, and in uploading of rates/prices/NAVPU.
- Review, analyze, and provide resolution/support on issues encountered during production.
- Conduct training of systems and processes to other members of the group.
What will make you successful
- College graduate, preferably business, management, or industrial engineering
- At least 3 to 5 years in financial services, Experience or background in business process and systems improvement preferred, but not required
