Business Process Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong General Ledger and finance process knowledge to support a major SAP S/4HANA implementation.

The successful candidate will work closely with Finance/GL stakeholders, SAP functional and technical teams, testing, data, and project teams to translate business requirements into clear functional requirements and support the successful delivery and adoption of future-state finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with General Ledger stakeholders to understand current-state processes, business requirements, pain points, and future-state objectives.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements, process flows, business rules, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria related to GL processes.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, testing, data, and business teams to clarify requirements and support solution design decisions.
• Participate in fit-to-standard and fit-gap discussions, identifying process gaps, dependencies, risks, and potential impacts to GL operations.
• Support the development of business scenarios, test cases, and test plans for finance and GL processes.
• Participate in SIT/UAT, validate test results, coordinate defect follow-up, and support issue resolution.
• Support data readiness, data validation, and reconciliation activities impacting General Ledger processes and financial reporting.
• Track requirements, decisions, issues, risks, dependencies, and action items throughout the implementation.
• Support business readiness, process adoption, and change activities related to the SAP S/4HANA transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting finance, accounting, ERP, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Strong working knowledge of General Ledger processes and core accounting/finance concepts.
• Experience supporting SAP implementations or major ERP transformation programs.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is strongly preferred.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, process mapping, requirements traceability, testing, and UAT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and project leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and General Ledger.
• Experience supporting finance transformation, ERP modernization, or large-scale SAP programs.
• Familiarity with SAP testing, data conversion, data validation, cutover, and business readiness activities.
• Experience working with globally distributed business and technology teams.
• Exposure to fit-to-standard, fit-gap, and future-state process design activities.
