Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Documentation

  • Analyze and document end-to-end business processes across accounting, tax, payroll, and client servicing functions, mapping current state workflows using process flowcharts, swim lanes, and standard BPM notation.
  • Define and formally document standard business processes, SOPs, and procedure manuals as a reference or guide for new client onboarding and existing client re-alignment.
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for process improvement, automation, or standardization.
  • Coordinate the publishing and storage of technical know-how on standard processes on the Company's intranet, ensuring documentation remains accurate, accessible, and version-controlled.
  • Collaborate with and understand the execution of current client servicing processes across different accounting teams to capture institutional knowledge.
  • Candidates must have prior experience in accounting or financial services.

Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Identify best practices and propose evidence-based recommendations to Portfolio Managers, the Head of CX & Ops, and the CEO to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Design and pilot improved workflows, define success metrics, and measure the impact of process changes against established baselines.
  • Partner with technology and product teams to translate process requirements into automation opportunities, leveraging cloud accounting tools and AI-driven solutions.
  • Optimize existing processes within the company and actively enhance all customer success initiatives.

Onboarding & Operational Support

  • Support the Head of Customer Experience and Operations on monitoring the progress and status of the client onboarding process end-to-end, from kick-off meeting to completion of the first month of service.
  • Occasionally attend customer onboarding sessions to support, if needed, in defining processes or activities that will operationalize the new service.
  • Liaise with internal managers regarding the status of the customer onboarding process to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Monitor escalations on internal issues identified during onboarding and track resolution to closure.
  • Supplement the conduct of process interviews, as needed, to better understand the client's business needs and provide support to clients during onboarding.

Performance Measurement & Compliance

  • Establish adherence to standard processes through the execution of internal control functions and conduct internal audits to verify compliance.
  • Assist the People Operations department in updating individual and operational KPIs to align with new processes, and manage and adjust the application of new processes to track results.
  • Gather and analyze customer and operational data to identify trends, surface insights, and improve customer experience and service delivery.
  • Report and communicate standard processes, performance trends, and improvement results to CloudCFO Portfolio Managers and leadership.
  • Understand and integrate the client's value perception into the Company (what the client wants and the problems they face).
  • Perform an operations support role on a project basis as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is strongly preferred.
  • At least 34 years of relevant working experience in business process analysis, business analysis, internal audit, operations, or client onboarding ideally within a professional services, BPO, or accounting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in process mapping, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Hands-on exposure to end-to-end accounting, tax, and payroll workflows is preferred, but not a must.
  • Working knowledge of process modeling tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, Visio) and familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma principles is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and comfortable working with data analysis and visualization tools.
