Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will analyze business intelligence data, identify market and industry trends, and develop insights that support business strategies and product decisions. This role works independently within established processes while continuously seeking opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business intelligence data to provide actionable insights that support business and product decisions.
- Gather, blend, and interpret historical data from industry reports, public information, field reports, and other available sources.
- Identify and evaluate industry, geographic, and competitive market trends, as well as current and emerging customer behaviors.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service, and other business units, to model and assess the impact of potential business strategies.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting and analysis.
- Continuously improve day-to-day processes, reporting methods, and analytical practices.
- Share best practices and contribute to knowledge development within the team.
- May provide day-to-day guidance and operational support to junior team members when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Approximately 1–2 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Reporting, or a related analytical role.
- Experience working with business intelligence tools and data visualization platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities within established guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous process improvement.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL and data querying techniques is an advantage.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
- Understanding of market analysis, customer behavior, and competitive intelligence.
- Leadership potential with the ability to mentor or guide junior team members when needed.
